Overview

The Looker Studio Connector for Jira lets you visualize your Jira project data in Google Looker Studio. Create custom dashboards with charts, tables, and scorecards using real-time data from your projects.

Getting Started

1. Create an Access Token

After installing the app, go to Jira Settings > Apps > Looker Studio Connector.

In the Access Tokens tab:

1. Click Create Token
2. Give it a name (e.g., "Dashboard Production")
3. Copy the token immediately—it will only be shown once
4. Store it securely

2. Get Your Connection URL

Go to the Setup Guide tab and copy the Connection URL.

3. Add a Data Source in Looker Studio

1. Open Google Looker Studio
2. Click Create > Data Source
3. Search for "Looker Studio Connector for Jira" in the partner connectors
4. Fill in the configuration:

• Connection URL: Paste the URL from step 2
• Project Key: The Jira project you want to visualize (e.g., DEV, PROJ)
• Data Table: Choose which data to import (see below)
